Coronavirus

We follow the guidelines of the RIVM. The guidelines can be found on the website of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM).

If you wish to cancel or change your holiday due to the coronavirus, we will apply the applicable conditions of RECRON. More information about this can be found here

Do you have an arrival in the month of April or May? Then you have already received a message from us by mail. See further questions below.

That is certainly possible with us! We will make sure that the house is ready for you at the indicated time of arrival. You can call us just before arrival, we will tell you how and where you can get the key. Before checking out you can call us, we will tell you how to proceed.

We would have liked to receive you, but unfortunately the Zeeland Safety Region decided otherwise. You will undoubtedly have heard this in the media.

The aim of the ordinance is to minimise the influx of tourists and thus the spread of the corona virus and to keep the pressure on healthcare in Zeeland as low as possible.

An understandable decision that has reached everyone involved in tourism.

For all stays in Zeeland, it means that you will no longer be allowed to spend tourist nights from Monday 30 March to 10 May 2020. A weekly check will be made as to whether this period needs to be shortened or extended.

Do you have an arrival date in the month of May? You have already received a message from us. You can accept our offer, or wait and see. If there are changes in the emergency ordinance, we will inform you as soon as possible.

If you have a reservation with an arrival date in June or later and you have concerns, please contact us by email. Together we will then look for a suitable solution.

In this special time of exceptional force majeure, the old cancellation scheme applies. The consumer is obliged to pay the amount he owes according to the original contract, i.e. related to the original date of arrival or date of performance of the contract.

If you have an arrival date from May 10th and wish to cancel your reservation because of the corona virus, please refer to your cancellation insurance. You can also respond to our earlier offer.

Booking

You can only book 1 accommodation at a time. If you refer to another booking in the Comments field, the bookings will be linked.

If you want to make a booking for a date which is not yet available on our website, please let us know by email or by phone

Our arrival and departure days are Monday and Friday. If a Monday or Friday is a public holiday, the arrival or departure day will change. Please contact us by phone for the possibility of different arrival days and we will make the reservation for you. 

You can take care of your own cancellation insurance or you can book a cancellation insurance with us when you make your reservation. 

Payment

We return the deposit, or a part of it, when there are costs that has to be settled, within 14 days after daparture on your bankaccount. We need to know your bankaccount and you have to leave the holidayhome decently.

The down payment is 50% of the rentalprice and has to be paid within 8 days. The remaining payment has to be paid a month before arrival. If you like to pay in smaller amounts, please contact us. 

You can pay easily and securely online (with iDeal, Bancontact, Giropay, SOFORT or with online banking) with the link in your reservation. You can also transfer money to our account through your account with online banking (IBAN NL88INGB0007680060), please refer to your reservationnumber.

UPDATE 02.04.2020: unfortunately we are currently experiencing problems with online payments. This feature is therefore temporarily disabled. We apologize for the inconvenience. You can pay by bank transfer.

Yes, you will automatically receive a confirmation email for every payment that you make.

It's not possible (yet) to pay with Creditcard.

Changes and cancellation

You can always contact us when you want to change your reservation. Together we look at the possibilities. The RECRON rental conditions apply.

You can call or email us when you want to cancel your reservation. This is in accordance with the HISWA-RECRON conditions.

Aankomst en vertrek

Please call us before arrival. We will get to the holidayhouse as soon as possible to give you the keys. You will receive the telephone-numbers a few days before arrival.

We like to hear what your estimated time of arrival is. If it's earlier than the time on your confirmation, please let us know in advance, we try to put your holidayhome first in our cleaning schedule (this is always without prejudice)

Yes, that's no problem. If you arrive later then 17:00 please let us know in advance, we'll discuss the possibilities. 

Extras

Yes, it is possible to add extras to your reservation up to one day before your arrival day. Please let us know by email or by phone.

Contents a duvet cover, fitted sheet and a pillowcase for one person. Please add this to your reservation in advance. We can also take care of making your bed, you can add this to your reservation up to one week before arrival. 

A towel package contents a big and a small towel and douchegel. A kitchen package includes a dishcloth, towel, scourer and dishwashtablets.

Unfortunately we do not rent beach towels.

The beachcabins are on the beaches Westduin and Dishoek. They contents 2 beachchairs, a table, a beach umbrella and a windshield and/or a sunhade. Based on availability, to avoid disappointments.

Your pet is allowed in most of our holidayhomes. You can see this on the page of the holidayhome or make a selection in the 'search & book' to see in wich houses pets are allowed. Would you like to bring more than 1 pet? Please contact us, mostly it will be no problem, but we can inform you.

All our prices are competitive and fair. If you stay more then 1 week, you'll receive a discount on the 2nd and following weeks.

In most of our holidayhouses there are a few foreign channels, for example: VRT Eén, VRT Canvas, BBC, CNN, ARD, ZDF, WDR, France2. There are also holidayhouses who have a package with foreign television channels. You can search for 'zenderpakket Buitenland' in our Search & Book.

There's a supermarket on holiday resort Vebenabos. The supermarket is 7 days per week open in the high season. In Koudekerke and residential area Paauwenburg in Vlissingen is a bigger supermarket 'Jumbo'.
